RESERVATION PROCESS

Master Reservation List: The Process

The price of a Lucky Dog Australian Labradoodle is ~

$3,500.00 + 6.25% MA tax of $218.75 for a total of $3,718.75

The most important aspects of adding a puppy to your family are temperament match and timing,

meaning YOU HAVE TIME to devote to raising and training a puppy.

We spend almost 24/7 with the puppies assessing their temperaments and therefore we feel Assisted Selections are the best option. We will let you know which puppy or puppies are a match to your family. If there is more than one, you will have a choice. (This does happen often.)

Gender:

Being open to gender can definitely help you bring home a puppy sooner. If you are committed to one gender vs the other, we understand, but we may not be able to offer you a spot in a litter based on your preference.

Color:

Once you commit to a litter, you must be open to any of the colors in that litter. We do not place puppies based on color or markings. We will let you know if more than one puppy is a match for you and this is when you can choose your puppy.

1. Fill out our online Puppy Reservation Application. Please be as detailed as possible.

This information will allow us to get to know you, your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a puppy. Once we receive it, we will reach out by email to set up a phone call, usually within 48 hours. We do not accept Reservations without a phone conversation first.

Once we have confirmed that our program is a good fit for you and we will have puppies that match your preferences we will email you a Reservation Contract and instructions on how to forward your Reservation Fee.

(If you don’t hear back from us within 3 days, please feel free to try again.)

2. Join our Master Reservation List by mailing your Reservation Contract with your

Non-refundable Reservation Fee of $500.  (Address provided after phone conversation)

Reservation fees are put towards the total purchase price of your puppy & are non-refundable.

*Families join the Master Reservation List in the order the Reservation Fees are received.

3. Litter Arrival:

When a new litter arrives, we will reach out to families on the Master Reservation List starting at the top. We will use your preferred method of contact based on your application.

You will have 24 hours to respond and 48 hours to decide if this litter is a match for your family.

Of course, we will talk about the litter and answer all questions first.

You may pass on a litter if it is not a match.

Your Reservation Fee will be applicable for 1 year from the birth date of the first litter offered to you.

(Ex: If you are offered a spot in a litter born on October 1, 2022, then you will have until October 1, 2023 to choose a litter before your Reservation Fee expires.)

Temperament match is the most important factor in the puppy selection process. For this reason, we do Assisted Selections. In other words, we make sure each family goes home with a puppy that is a good match for them and their lifestyle.

Once you commit to a litter, you must be open to any color puppy in the litter. We do not place puppies based on color and markings. We will let you know if more than one puppy is a match for you and this is when you can choose your puppy.

4. Information:

Around 4 weeks of age, you will receive a Puppy Manual and Dog Food Guide. This information will help you prepare for bringing your new puppy home! Included is a suggested supply list. I do advise waiting for this info before you start shopping.

It is always best to shop online for your new puppy. Going to the pet store can bring unwanted germs into your home and you will soon be bringing home a ‘not fully vaccinated’ baby.

You will receive email updates and pictures will be posted on the website.

5. Puppy Balance Payment:

When your puppy turns 5 weeks old, the remaining balance of $3,218.75 is due.

6. Puppy selections

Puppy selections take place around 7 weeks of age. The timing will depend on when the vet visit is scheduled, as we make selections after this takes place.

The exact date and time of your selection will be emailed to you. Selections are made IN ORDER OF RESERVATIONS on the litter. Therefore, you must be flexible with your selection date and time. Selections will be done by Zoom or Facetime unless otherwise noted.

We spent almost 24/7 with the puppies assessing their temperaments and therefore we feel Assisted Selections are the best option. We will let you know which puppy or puppies are a match to your family. If there is more than one, you will have a choice. (This does happen often.)

*We reserve the right to select breeding dogs first from any litter.

7. Pick up your puppy at 8 weeks old:

We are located in North Easton, MA. We do not ship our puppies. Please plan to pick your puppy up in person. We will schedule your pick-up at the time of your selection call.

You must be willing to pick-up your puppy on one of the litter go home dates provided. In rare circumstances, we will hold a puppy for up to 3 days for a fee of $50.00 per day.

Please make sure the litter go home dates do not coincide with vacations or major life events before committing to the litter. Thank you.

~ We could not love raising these puppies any more than we do! Sending the puppies home is bittersweet because we will miss every one of them but also love seeing them grow and thrive with their new families. The unconditional love they bring to families is so heartwarming!
